This subject will be about my opinion about horror.

The things I like and dislike.

So here is my opinion.

First, I like clever monsters. Like The Thing (remake) and the mind games its created in the movie.

Alien is a good movie too.

But I don't like serial killers movies. I tend to not really enjoy them, reason is that most of the time. The victims are stupid or lack logic and the plot doesn't go far.

What I truely enjoy is Evil Dead. 1,2 and 3.

3 is my favorite.

The real conflict in the story of Evil Dead is the necronomicon. And what I like about Ash is that he is just a "Hero of fortune"

Not a complete badass. But he make himself really funny to watch.

Sam Raimi is a great guy to have made this films.

I also like ghost movies, and other haunting related films.

I did watched Poltergeist.

Paranormal activities and others that I can't remember.. But I think ghosts in movies are pretty cool.

Resident Evil is kinda an action/soft horror franchise. I say that because, the action take the horror part less important.

But it is still horror.

Now then, the classic Saw movies.

I think they are the best to the worst movies.

The first one is very good.

The last one, is a damn joke.

And I think it's fine. But the horrific scenes sure made this franchise something else..

I think they lost creativity with their traps and stuff. And sometimes I though it was way too far to be a game that you can survive.

Jigsaw was a smart and dangerous threat.

And that's why tbe first three movies where good. Until he died.

After that it was a mess.

And to finish with Night of the living dead.

I really enjoy all the Zombie movies. I didn't watch all of them, but I have see the one in the mall. And others that I can't recall, but they are old.

Like one who its about a rat that give the virus to the mother of the protagonist.

28 Days Later was awesome and frightning.

28 weeks later was ok.

And the walking dead was special.

Until Glen died..

I read some horror books too. Bit that will be in my next post.

So, basically that is my opinion about horror in movies.

- Don't like slashers/serial killers movies.

- Like monsters/Aliens/Ghosts.

- Appreciate any plot or mysteries.

- Enjoy good action with horror.
