Grief, struggles and overcoming sadness.

That is the main themes I am going to keep in mind through making Among The Mighty.

Sure I don't want to go too far in these, but it will be the subjects that I want to capture

in the main story.

Kyle Megura lost his mother, and I want this to be his inner struggle to overcome.

To accept that death is real and he have to endure the pain of that loss.

The other problems that he will face, is the reality that teenage life is cruel sometimes.

But at some point there is a shift in it that will occur, he will find love,

he will find respect within himself and he will eventually succeed in his high school years.

I don't want to be shy about this story, and don't want to ignore some aspect or do too much.

My goal is to learn pacing, how to show motives, and create a story that is good.

The sports, the fights, the drama, the skateboarding and MMA parts in the story is totally just

a fraction of what I have in mind.

I hope to make something great in this manga.
