To me, female leads is a great thing.
But in today perspective. It's like they cannot make any good movies
with any women..
I feel sad about it, because I know that Ripley in Aliens was one of the best to shine.
Lara Croft wasn't that bad too.. Carrie was a psylogical horror movie, but still relatable.
It's like they aren't trying anything new today.
Beside trashing films with poor choice of dialogues and making any actress look bad..
I swear, I wish movies weren't going that way.. It's like hollywood isn't about glamour
and dreams anymore.
It's more about looking dumb and goofy.. In a really bad way.
Men in movies are taking a hit too, comedy is dying and horror feel like a wet fart joke.
Where is people going in this era?
Remakes are just plain boring, with no stakes or profit to do anymore..
The Ghost Buster 3 was horrible.. And it wasn't about the women in it.
It was about how they handle the former main characters and throw them away like if they
were just disposable..
If I ever make a movie and make an actress a leading role.
I won't do like these guys do.
I will treat the plot of the story with respect.
Make a villain that is a woman as well.
And show that men aren't that stupid as the stereotype
show us..
Anyway, that is if I had the money to do so.
