The index should pop more instead of blending in with the rest of the hand, like make it seem more long or a bit more bigger, because it seems like a nob. And the Thumb on the other hand as well. If you close your hand, your thumb is on top of your fingers (Slightly). Its the tiny details that makes the difference.

That's quite good, try to add more wrinkles on other characters to experiment with
the age or design wise attributes. Wrinkles are a thing to know about if you want to
make it feel more mature or realistic.
