Year is 2008 february 22.
I was 14 years old.
Old enough to think what life could be for me.
Young enough to have fun and care for nothing else.
My godfather called me to ask if I wanted to see Linkin Park
in Centre Bell in Montreal.
Me who was a fan of them for 3 years, I agreed.
Then he picked me up and we travel to Montreal.
While driving there, Frank.. My godfather.
went to fast on the road and a cop
asked him to pull over.
When the cop came over, Frank explained it was my birthday,
that we were going to the show of Linkin Park
and he showed his firefighter badge.
The cop just give him his warning and we went to Centre Bell.
When we arrived there, Frank bought 2 tickets from
a shady guy who was selling them dirt cheap.
We go inside, and the place was huge.
People were buying beers, food
and lining up to see Linkin Park.
Frank and I went up there..
We were very high in the cente bell.
Let's say a little too high.
I actually couldn't see shit there, we were only able to
see the drummer's head of the opening act..
Which I couldn't remember them at all.
But anyway, the night wasn't going well
at this point.
Frank look down on the stage with me
and we both look at each other.
Frank then ask me simply if I wanted to go in a lower
spot.. Which I said yes.
Then he explain his plan..
It was simple, I just needed to pretend to be scared of heights
and say that Frank was my father..
Which I totally go with it.
And we head towards a guard..
Frank tell his lies, I act like if I was going to puke..
The guard look at me, then look at Frank..
He said "Just give me a second.."
And he went to see someone behind the corner..
Me and Frank don't say a word.. And we kinda start to freak out.
Then the guard come back and ask us to give our tickets..
My heart beat go faster, I hand my ticket to Frank and he hands it to the guard..
Then..
The guard exchange it for two orange places 104...
One of the best places you would dream to watch Linkin Park.
"Take the stairs and have a nice show." Simply said the guard and he walks away.
Me and Frank head behind the doors..
We both are super happy and I jump in excitement.
I couldn't believe this worked..
Anyway, and we went to our place after..
Saw the whole thing, heard all the songs from their first three albums.
Hybrid Theory, Meteora and Minutes to Midnight..
Given up was extremely impressive to see Chester Bennington perform live..
Breaking the habit played by piano from Mike Shinoda while Chester sing.
After that, they did two closing songs..
Then it was all over..
I swear this was one of the best day ever of my life.
Never ever felt one like this ever again.

I've only seen regular Parks, but never a Linkin one.
