I imagine NSFW is a fun way to study body anatomy and it opens your audience up a bit more. You don't have to exclusively draw stuff like hentai or r34 either, sometimes NSFW is just nudity or suggestive swimsuits and stuff like that. My advice is to go as far as you feel comfortable doing.
