The game I'm working on right now will only include the intro

and the first chapter.

Since I only got until the end of the month to finish it.

31 october Halloween to be exact.

I think I will be able to complete it.

The full game will take me a year or two

if I manage everything correctly.

The final result might be different than the

first attempt to show what I have in mind.

I am hesitant on how the gameplay will work.

But I will try to innovate and do few things

that are gameplay wise.

Started last monday and so far I love my job.

Beside the fact some co-workers are snubs

and hate my old hoodie.. Anyway, it's a place

with rich people who go there so..

My friend is working only monday and friday there for now.

But he decided to change shift to join me.

He said he also needed a longer shift like

I did. Plus he worked there for like 5 years.

So since he is in the same department

and we both appreciate each other.

It's gonna be less hard.

Also I might buy a chic coat just

to stop the snubs at work to

judge about my appearance

etc..

I never cared much about how I should look

but this place really have a bad judging

eye on how you shouldn't look.

Anyway I think beside that part, this

job is the one for me.

Want to work there for like 5 years

or maybe more than that.

Anyway, that's about it.

So yeah, I made some progress.

Changed the gameplay..

I'm trying to learn how to make puzzles that work and even created a font for text custom made.

I'm making two selectable characters to play with.

A gentleman and a lady.

I am trying to polish it before 31 october.

But so far I have an idea for the game..

Decided to not explain anything very deep about what I'm doing since

it's something new and more logical then just a platformer + shooter.

Armed Slime 2 will come out in November if I got time for it.

But right now I want to make an halloween themed game.

Escape the Dark sorta failed.. I didn't fixed the bugs..

So I am starting from fresh with a more story based game

with horror theme. The atmosphere is what I am focusing

on with that game.

I'm also trying to make the game replayable too.

With random outcomes and multiple endings..

I think I will just post the first chapter and then

do the whole game to post it on steam.

Price would be low, my goal with that is

to create a quality game that is made

for horror sim/rpg/puzzle genre.

I think the price will be set to either 5 dollards or maximum 8 dollards.

Yeah, like a skip lunch money sort of price.

Or if I am feeling like it. Just 2$

Anyway, nothing is set in stone and the game is still

worked on by me. I hope I'll be able to post it in time.

I'm currently working on Armed Slime 2.

Done few stuff but had to restart from

my last save file due to a bug that

make the weapons useless..

So, instead of repeating tries and errors.

I just went back to before the whole change.

It's annoying, but I got rid of that bug.

Now I am figuring how to make a shotgun.

Doing a shop, inventory menu and a health bar.

With extra lives too, if I figure it out right.

This will take like a week.. I hope so.

Might post some previews if things went well.

I want to make many video games.

Finish whatever I started from last year too.

Do many comics.

Also write everything in The Detective's Diary.

So far it is the most successful project I made.

Yet, I feel like I have accomplished less of

what I wanted.

Anyway, I'm applying for more jobs. Also prepare fro

next year and get some equipment to make

my own job. Like a shovel to dig snow for

the neighbors and charge like 20$.

Or get a mower to cut the grass of the neighbors.

Seem profitable, just need to get gas and every

tool to set my own business.

I think about this, because 20$ for each house

is really fast. Instead of 15$ per hour.

Anyway, I will work my stuff.

Also I got some plans for Armed Slime 2.

I started to work on it last month, need to modify

some aspect like the health bar being visible

and the do test in the gameplay.

I tried to make a boss.. It bugged so hard

and I was really annoyed.

I did new guns sprites too.

A shotgun and a minigun.

I tried to create a knockback effect, but it's kinda messy.

So, once I get my job I will work on Escape The Dark in my free time.

Will get some money to buy the sub for Construct 3.

Got like payments of couple of bills to pay for like 3 months in a row.

I'm pissed but will quickly do the game after that.

Done my interview, now I wait..

Today I am getting a new job.

17$ an hour.

Working in maintenance in a spa.

Hope it goes well, I tied my tie and trimmed my beard.

After few months of going outside in the forest and near rivers.

I though myself to accept nature and be thankful for it.

Ever since I was a kid, I learned many secrets of life.

Like about time, efforts and letting go.

Seasons happens because of the planet itself rotate

and our world change for that fact. Animals survived

through all this change and learned to prepare for the

worst. When winter comes, animals eat more, gather

food, build or find refuge.

We humans have made it easier.

Paying bills to stay in a home.

Going to grocery shopping.

I kinda want to do my own prep for winter.

Today I plucked some 4 leaf clovers

and consider myself lucky to be alive.

I treat animals with respect and enjoy the sun light.

My hopes for the world are for the best.

Even if I am not really happy with

what the companies does to society

and our way to get food and water.

Anyway, I will read some books now.

I messed up few lines from The Detective's Diary.

Might ask someone to change couple of some.

I wish TomFulp allowed me to at least correct

it myself but anyway.

Will check what is missing or anything else.

Like the line "I throw a woman at him." Was actually "He throw a woman in my direction."

or something like that.

I swear, I need to read few times before posting my entries.
